I kissed you in the car where no one could see
I say I kissed you but we both know you kissed me,
I kissed you in a parking lot
Adorned with Christmas lights and street lamps
And I know no one could ever see what I could see
But what's it matter?
A little to you, a lot to me
You were happy in the moment, for the moment, at least I think
And you seemed as though you didn't care about anything really, other than me
Nuzzled up against you, you and I, cheek to cheek
I would have stayed there forever, if it meant you would never leave me
You would have never left and never found
Whoever she is
Whoever it is you think is better than me
And she'll kiss you or you'll kiss her, whichever it may be
And Christmas lights will dance upon her face but I hope it makes you think of me
And what we could be, would be, won't be, will never be
I just want you to think of me.
