Mood Swing Weather

The bright yellow light shining overhead does no justice for the hammer on my head
Nor does it deliver the smallest dose of the vitamins that induce any sense of false happiness

The bright yellow light lends it's glow in hopes that it will brighten the day, and technically it does, but figuratively- not so much

The bright yellow light shines down and I try to see the beauty the world is captivated by but I can't see any beauty here and I can't see how anybody's emotions could change in the sunlight, because they can't.

Or I can't.

I want to be altered by the sunlight
I want to be affected by mood swing weather
But I am low

And the bright yellow light shines down and I see my shadow trying to hide
And if I could I would reach out and hold her hand
"It's okay, I'm just as shy as you. Maybe one day it will be better and maybe one day we will be affected by mood swing weather"
